Clinical PilatesClinical Pilates is a program designed by Physiotherapists to link current research on core stability with the original works of Joseph Pilates. Pain or any injury can cause disruptions in the way our muscles work. It is this disruption to our muscles and movement patterns which can prevent a condition from resolving, lead to recurring episodes of the same problem or not optimize our performance in sport. Physiotherapists assess these movement patterns and prescribe progressed exercise programmes, to achieve full function once again, whether you are recovering from a back injury, surgery or a sports injury.
Physiotherapists understand what goes wrong with the body so anyone suffering injury but wanting to embark on Pilates as a form of exercise or rehabilitation will be fully supported in a safe environment.
