What is pilates

Pilates is a gentle, low-impact method of exercise which concentrates on building your body’s core strength and improving body-tone and posture. It involves a series of low repetition and low impact exercises to build strength in your back, abdominal and pelvic muscles to achieve a strengthened and more toned body and an overall sense of well-being.
Pilates is hugely beneficial for helping a wide number of conditions including back-pain, neck pain, osteoporosis, pregnancy, sports injuries and because it is gentle and non-aerobic it can be performed by people of all ages and levels of fitness.
All our instructors are fully trained in pilates but because they are also physiotherapists, you will achieve the optimum results from your pilates program and any concerns you have while exercising can be carefully monitored.
Our classes take place in small groups, usually no more than eight people which allows the instructor to give a greater degree of individual attention and monitor your progress. Call Back in Motion to dicsuss pilates at one of our Norfolk pilates clinics in Diss, Norwich, Wymondham, and North Walsham.
